The Free version is limited to 7 active snippets. The Beginner Plan allows up to 50 snippets and 30 dynamic variables. Can I use my snippets across different computers?
Yes! CopyGOAT now features Google Drive Sync. You can securely sync your snippets across browsers using your personal Google Drive account. Manual Import/Export is also available for Pro/Team users.
How do the dynamic tags work?
Dynamic tags are special placeholders you can insert into your snippets. When the snippet is expanded, these tags are automatically replaced with current information. For example, {{date}} becomes today's date, and {{clipboard}} inserts text from your clipboard.
How do I use Dynamic Variables?
It is very simple. When creating a snippet, type a word inside double curly braces, like {{name}} or {{price}}. When you type your shortcut later, a box will appear asking you to fill in that information. The extension then inserts your text with the information you provided.
